OMG macbook wont read leopard disk mbp will though??

So i got the macbook all cleaned up ready for a leopard install but it wont read the leopard disk. I tried a dvd and it works fine! The MBP reads the disk and the installer pops up. The macbook just keeps spitting the disk out!! any ideas or workarounds!???

Sounds like a bad optical drive. You could always just target disk mode the MacBook and use the Pro to install.

Well looks like its a drive problem of some kind! is there somehow i can partition my disk and copy leopard install to and install from there?

When I clicked to restart to install it said my disk wasn't in. I just restarted the computer and then restarted with the installer. (on an iBook)

I ended resorting to a usb dvd drive and so far so good !!!! (50% verified) so i guess i will be taking it in for drive warranty next week ! 🙁
