Wow expensive.... =( I couldn't find what the stuff is made from.
Is it just like stickers? or is there a little more substance to it? Anyone tried before? recommend/don't recommend?

No they take apart your computer and paint/dye the parts, then apply a clear coat to protect the finish.
 
=( sounds like such a difficult process... and here I thought it was just stuff u stick on...
 
Well it's a lot bigger precess then you first thought. If you are paying that amount, then I'd want them to take it apart, paint it properly, and applying a clear coat on it.
 
Go to Wal*Mart and get some MacTac.
Stick on, trim with Xacto knife.
