On comcast with 50meg internet / 10 upload ...

Just got my comcast upgraded. On speedtest.net im running 52 meg download / 10 upload. Just installed a new hard drive a week ago. But for some reason netflix at the highest quality option still lags. Im on a 2008 white macbook. still have 2g of ram. upgrading to 4 asap. Could that be a problem? Any ideas why the lag still. & slow downloads also. even tho im at 52 meg.

Try upgrading your Silverlight plugin from Microsoft.

Which version of Mac OS X are you running?
Decoding HD might be tough for the integrated GPU.

Do you have any problems with 720/1080 HD playback on YouTube?

yes youtube doesnt load fast either. lags. im up to date on silverlight. im on lion. up to date.
