    Hi all,

I develop a few application but I have a question regarding the on iPhone application name: how is it determined?

I know the on iPhone application name is not the same as on iTunes Connect when you create application info.
I've already noticed it might be the same as the binaryname.zip, can you confirm or decline?
I also know that this name must not exceed 11 characters or it will be cut by "...", is that right?

So how can I manage this name?

Oh, I've also found that, what do you think?

    Thank you by advance,
    Doug

Your application name (the name that appears on the Home Screen of the device) is the same as your Product Name in XCode. You can change this by right clicking on the product and selecting Info. I think the property is slightly below the provisioning properties (can't remember off the top of my head) but you want to look for "Product Name".

From what I understand it's not exactly 11 characters every time - I think it has to do with the width of the name. "iiiiiiiiiii" wouldn't be trimmed but "BBBBBBBBBBB" would be
