on the iPad Mini 6(WiFi+cellular) 64gb or 256gb, how much storage is available after you unbox it and let everything update? (but before you log in with your iCloud account or install any of your own iOS apps)

Thanks!

Around 50GB on the 64GB model.

Around 50GB on the 64GB model.

Thanks!

I plan to give the Mini another try. 90% or more of the stuff that I do are streaming, so 50gb is more than enough for me. (on my 12 Pro phone with 128, I have not used more than 32gb after a year)

I also have the 64GB but can’t help as I used the bluetooth transfer. So convenient, it took me a while to transfer my iPad 3 to my Mini 5 with iTunes, forgotten logins as it didn’t have keychain, etc.

Presumably those 7 include things that can be deleted (I got rid of Garageband et al.) That should bring it up to at least 50GB, maybe 51.

I have the 256 GB mini and I put a lot of pics on mine and still have 200 GB left after all the syncing was done and backup transferred.

iPad storage menu shows 7.45GB for iPad OS, system data fluctuates but is around another gig for me.
