Picked up an M1 MBP. Other than being slightly bothered that the keyboard backlight is more cool white/purplish than my last Mac, I noticed the Touch Bar doesn't seem to be responding to True Tone or Night Shift. I feel like it did in the past. Can anyone else with an M1 MBP confirm if that is working for them or not? Thanks!

Exactly the same here. I was just about to make a thread on this. The Touch Bar is far brighter and bluer with Night Shift/True Tone than I am used to. During the day time it is the same as my Intel model.

11.1 beta seems to also apply True Tone to Touch Bar for me.

I can't recall if 11.0.1 also did the same thing or not, but 11.1 beta seems to work that way.

Good lord that is blue. That is what mine looked like, it was so bright, off color, and distracting. I ended up having to exchange mine for a separate issue, and the replacement has the normal cool gray buttons that much better with the keyboard and the case. I wonder if it's a random problem with some units?

Also just out of curiosity, could you maybe try an NVRAM and SMC reset to see if the issue persists? I know it persists through normal reboots. But I'm wondering if the SMC is just stuck or something.

To be fair the camera exaggerates it. It is closer to your picture to the naked eye. I will see if 11.1 fixes it.
