Tanagra (not really)
I visited On1 yesterday, and I got a pop up for their secret sale. Enter an email address and they give you 30% off On1 2020, or $69.99. I figure it’s worth a shot at that point, as I just had been getting by with Darktable for the last few months. Not sure how long the deal will go on, so if you were thinking about it, now might be the time to give it a try.

ON1 Photo Raw has matured quite nicely. I’ve been using it a lot lately instead of Luminar 4 and the other apps I have.

Interesting.
Does anyone on here use both, ON1 and also Exposure X5?
Still got my Lightroom subscription at the moment, but need something to replace it with after...

I have both. I started using X5 after having a lot of issues with ON1 and the eGpu on my mini. Those issues were resolved with updates to ON1 so I went back to it. X5 is wonderful but has a few shortcomings - namely no eGpu support. I wasn't too keen on the fans ramping up so much when working in X5, but the editing and results are very nice indeed. I still have it installed, but haven't used it in a few months.

I've used X4, and haven't tried X5. What I found is that X5 to be a much better product then On1.

My annual subscription for adobe is coming due, and while I hate to paying for it, I've yet to find anything that works as well. Maybe I'll take a quick look at X5 myself.

On1 certainly has some quirks. Right now, every time I open it, it starts with only the browser module. I have to full screen it and then back again to get the rest of the UI. I maybe need to uninstall and reinstall it, but that’s a weird issue. Exports can be touchy as well—seems it wants to either go crazy on sharpness or not be sharp at all. Almost too many options to work through!

I like much about PR 2020. To me the PR2020 DAM/Browse is definitely the weak part of the app. It does not remotely provide the same folder and file naming/renaming capabilities for file importing as you will commonly find in Adobe products, C1P, Photo Mechanic and others.
