As it seems one day after updating the airpods to the newest firmware (3A283) my left Airpod Pro isn´t recognized by the iPhone anymore. It still seems to be on power because when you put it in the ear there is still the very low noise and the button creates a click sound, but no audio signals are transfered. The battery level isn´t transfered to the iphone either. I´ve tried hundred times the process to forget the device and factory reset them but still the same result. My left APP is dead :(

Anyone an idea? Thanks

I don't know if it's a coincidence, but my left AirPod Pro started the dreaded rattle after I updated to 3A283. I contacted Apple and they sent me a replacement. I asked the CSR whether the new firmware caused the problem and she said no. I have my doubts. I suggest you contact Apple for some troubleshooting guidance.

Can you test it on another device not attached to your iCloud account, just to eliminate anything caused by your gear, before getting it replaced?
