Hi Sir/Madam,

Re: Old Phone : Iphone 6 Plus IOS 10.x
New Phone: Iphone 7 Plus IOS 10.x
************************************************
I have bought the iphone 7 plus and performed backup and restore all the apps and data from iphone 6 plus. both iphone is running ios 10 and everything fine after restore. but one apps cannot restore to iphone 7 plus due to the reason is the apps unavailable in apps store now. so the apps cannot download from their.
i have tried offical approach (iTunes etc.) to get the apps but unsuccessful. Besides, I have searched more information on internet but not found any solution. the apps is purchased item and so important.

Which methods can allow to export/convert the apps to ipa file after old iphone has been jailbroken ?
I can install into new iphone by such ipa file. tks a lot

Best Regards

Can you find the unavailable apps in your "Purchased" list?

On the iphone, open the app store app, go to the updates tab, and tap on purchased

on the computer, open up itunes, click the account drop down list, and then click purchased

All checked but not found due to the apps has been unavailable in apps store now.

Besides, all of the offical approach has been tried but unsuccessful.
(Transfer purchase item, Sync, Backup and restore etc.)

So, I Wanna to ask the methods to resolve after jailbreak. tks

Tks a lot

You can try the following solution:
1. Navigate to the application's folder
2. Make a new folder called "Payload"
3. Copy the .app folder into the Payload folder
4. Zip the Payload folder
5. Once zipped, change the file extension to .ipa

Although, I'm not sure if this will introduce any problems

1) The ipa can install another iphone directly ?
2) U tried above step and the apps can running in another iphone, right ?
3) as per mentioned .app folder in point 3, is it the name of app, right ?
or the actual folder name is .app ?

1, 2) I am not sure. This method was something from a few years back. There's a possibility Apple has changed things and this no longer works

3) the folder name ends in .app

What iOS version is your jailbroken device on?

Both iPhone also using 10.x and still no jailbreak now. I remember yr method may work on iOS 9 or prior , iOS 10 may not work
So I wanna to ask clear then take action.

I hate apple why not allow use existing apps even the apps unavailable in apps store.......
