Only, of course, they don't care.
A boilerplate response will come back thanking you for feedback and that you shouldn't expect a response.

They know better than the users how technology should be used, and its not their problem if user disagrees.
For any obvious hardware or software failings, they are likely aware and will only do something about it when the issue makes mainstream Media, putting the company in a bad light.

In rare cases, they will make exception to an individual's concern by replacing product as a 'goodwill gesture', in an effort to quell potentially damaging dissent.

I don't expect a reply but clearly they haven't been properly testing this OS before releasing it. They need to make sure it is functioning as well as before with popular websites before releasing it and make sure Safari isn't negatively affected.
If they knew better than users how technology should be used they wouldn't have released this half baked mess called Tahoe.
The more people complain about it the better.

I say thanks for helping get the word out; I try to encourage thoughtful complainers to use it regularly, especially during years like this.

I'd also say: don't mind the cynicism around how it might be received. Mistakes can be made, but people at Apple do listen and do care. Even if the odds of that feel low, I think it's still worth a couple of minutes to get one's thoughts in order and share them anyway.

Use the Feedback Assistant app instead of this. You'll be able to see a history of your submitted feedback, and the current "status" of it (on the off chance that Apple actually takes any action).

Interesting. I actually did not realize Feedback Assistant was part of the standard macOS install. I thought it was just for the betas -- and yet here it is on my Mac. Thanks for the tip.

Now that Apple has that fancy Passkey thing I've forgotten my password…and I'd have to reset it to log into "Feedback Assistant".

That's the first thing I'd submit if I wanted to bother. 🤷‍♂️
