One-Click-Record Software?

Do you know a software which just works like a dictating machine? Just click an record. Garageband seems to be the worng application for a short voice record.

You might try VoiceNotes. I haven't used it personally, but it seems straightforward

Audacity is free and simple. Wiretap is paid and offers lots of features.
