I like knowing what's being updated prior to updating it. I hope this is implemented as an option an not a requirement.

Edit: Nevermind! It's an option!
 
It would be nice to have a push notification '5 apps have been updated' overnight, which leads you to a 'Recently Updated' section in the App Store.

I woke up this morning and witnessed exactly this.
And there indeed is the toggle to block automatic updates.
 
Is there also a way to see what has changed in the app? like we do today

There is a Notification Center listing that tells you "X amount of apps were updated". When swipe that notification over, it takes you to the App Center update panel which lists the apps that were updated and tells you the changes when you tap the down arrow, like normal.
 
That is excellent that it's optional! I like to read the notes, and there are some apps I hold off on as long as I possibly can before updating. I'm really happy to see this news. Thanks for the SS!
