One finger back/forward in Chrome?

I'd like to be able to swipe between full screen apps and keep the convenience of being able to quickly swipe back and forth between web pages but I can't seem to get it to work in Google Chrome. Anybody have a work around or do I have to wait for the Chrome developers to get it working?

I think I use bettertouchtool for the 1 finger swipe back/forward then the normal option in system preferences to swipe between full screen apps
