For those who insist that one hand use is of paramount importance, how will you cope with the possibility that a 4" taller screen of the rumored 6th gen iPhone will make this harder to do?

Bare in mind also that the "Back" button is often located top left, and the notification pull down is at the top.

I think it's OK.
1. You've overestimated the "reach" area a bit, IMO
2. you've placed the screen too high (further extending the "reach" area) vs. the leaked parts.
3. there's not a lot up there that you need to reach for. You've pointed out the back button, but those are pretty big -- easy to reach for.
All and all, yes, a few things will be harder for those with small hands to reach... but against the positives of a larger screen, I don't see this as 95% good, 5% bad. So, a very good thing.

That back button will be the big one for a lot of people. It's why there's a capacitive one on androids.

I was a little disappointed to see that it was only taller and not wider.

But after playing with my 4s and trying to reach the top corners..... Looks like apple thought it out.

i do have huge hands and use my galaxy note one handed so i shouldnt have any problems
