iPod one iphone and two computers - sync all three

I have an iphone 3g.
I want to be able to plug it into either my MPB or my iMac (both intel and 10.5.7) and have it sync with itunes.

right now it says that the phone belongs to one or the other.

how do I do that?

I'm pretty sure you can only sync an iPod or iPhone with one computer at a time.
