(2018) 13" Macbook Pro, TB, 256, True Tone, no problems at all. No flex, keyboard, kernal panics, speaker noise, charging, IOS or anything else. Just a perfect MacBook Pro, as it should be!

Anyone else with a perfect MAChine?

I'd say many of us had perfect laptops. I had a problem free model myself

Your use of past tense is a bit worrying, so are you saying not anymore? I was under the impression that you have had a problem-free mbp.

I started having bridge OS kernel panics 3.5 months into ownership. Maybe you’ll never have issues... but it seems it’s also possible for some of the known issues to start acting up months later...

It has come down to this. A 3000 USD computer working after 1 month is an accomplishment.

How many late 2016s trouble free?...

My 13" 2016 MBP with TouchBar is still working like on day one. No slow downs, no defects, no stuck keys or anything like that.

Touchbar is a little slower then I'd like when waking up my machine, and on the odd occasion the fingerprint sensor doesn't seem to want to work one minute, but then perfectly fine the next (only when logging into the machine), but otherwise its all good ;)

I've had my 2017 for a while know and had one keyboard failure in April, but *knocks on wood* havent had an issue since that keyboard replacement. Touchbar is useful in FCPX, but otherwise seems like a placeholder for the time being. But Performance wise runs like a dream, just a bit warm in Final Cut which is expected.

Always afraid to post that my laptop has been fine on these forums for fear of getting eaten alive by those who absolutely hate and find everything wrong with these machines.

My 2016 15" is working perfectly with zero issues. I recently picked up a 2018 i9 Vega 20 machine and no issues either.

It's good that you do. Obviously there's more negativity online in this regard so it's good to offer some counterbalance. I am one of those, who had extremely bad experience with these keyboards, but otherwise am very happy with everything else concerning these laptops.

My 2018 15" has been flawless for 5 months. No issues with the keyboard, T2 errors when using my audio interface, etc. Screen gets bright enough to see outdoors and speakers produce amazing sound for such as small device.

Hey which audio interface are you using? And does it connect directly to the MBPro via a dongle? Or a hub? No crackle?

I have two interfaces. The one I use most often is Audient ID14. And occasionally I also use the Onyx Blackjack. Connection is via USB A cable, so I do use a dongle. But both devices have a USB B connector (the square one), so I suppose a USC-C to USB-B cable would eliminate the need for a dongle.

Quality wise there seems to be no additional noise. I notice no difference between using the interfaces on MacBook and a windows computer. As a result, I am still spending money on mics, room treatments, etc., but don't blame the computers.
