So, I met this girl, who goes to my school, over Facebook. She actually contacted me, and we set up a "date" to talk about our shared interests in graphic design and photography, after school next week. So anyway, according to her Facebook profile, she's single, and so far she seems nice. I haven't actually met her in person yet, so I don't know if we'll "click", but I don't want to screw this up.

Any advice for a loveless teen, such as myself?

Go somewhere with free WiFi and take your MacBook and post everything she says in this thread so we can analyze it and tell you what to say next.

If she wants to see you again after that, you've found a "keeper."

Don't forget to get a shot in Photobooth and post it so we can rate her as well. :D

You're definitely not loveless, just insecure. She contacted YOU so she's interested. Have fun, eat ice cream.

We vetted you on MR, i.e., you've posted and we've read. You're cool. :D
Go some place neutral so you'll feel at ease, listen as much as you talk, initiate as much as you answer. If you're shy, girls dig that. If you're secure (but not in your face about it), girls dig that, too.
Be yourself. You won't screw up.

I did/do. It's endearing. I'm not talking about catatonic, just a whiff of humility and awkwardness that belies an inner strength and intelligence. Especially if it's combined with humor. Laughter really is an aphrodesiac, better than oysters and less toxic.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Anyway, I'm not sure if I made it clear or not, but this is a different girl than the one I was talking about in my other thread.
She has some pics on her Facebook, but I don't want to post them, for obvious reasons. But trust me, she definitaly gets a A+ on the cuteness scale, in case anyone's curious. :D

And since this "date" is partly about photography, I see no harm in bringing my camera and snapping a few shots. :D (with her permission, of course)

Tell her you have over 1000 post on Macrumors.com...and that about 3.53 post a day! Then tell her to make an username on her...if she says yes, ask her to marry you there and then!

Bring a ring just in case!!;)

I hope you know whether or not she is of the Mac persuasion, at least. I mean what's the point if she's not, unless you can get her to convert:p

Be sure that since you're exploring photography interests that you use compatible camera brands ;)

Yeah I get that sometimes. If i'm around someone that I really like them yeah i'll feel all weird and I think every move out before I do it and think out stuff to say but I kind of always thought girls could see that in a guy and would turn them away.

I would assume Sw means "brands" such as Canon, Nikon, Olympus, etc....so you can share "lenses" if you ever go shooting together.

Don't be a fool, wrap your tool.

    1) Skip the camera. Save that one for later.
    2) Don't be so eager. It's OK to be eager on the inside, but if you let it show, you're dead. Mainly because eagerness can be construed as "creepy" (See Mord's excellent advice).
    3) Take it slow.
    4) Be yourself. If she doesn't like you for who you are (right now), then what's the point?

    Haha, I thought so.

I agree about taking it easy with the camera at first. I would suggest you still bring it (if you said you're meeting with that common hobby right?) but don't initiate its use. If she's interested in it let her take a few pictures using it. You'll be golden if she's taking pictures of you on your camera asking you to send them to her /melt
