I recently installed lion and I believe that spaces is completely sucking my processing power dry. According to iStat Nano, it is using 118% and I can see that the computer is running hard, fans are at 6000rpm most of the time and the battery is draining quickly. I've attached the screen shot from iStat, I need to figure out how to disable, turn off, or do something, because this is getting a little ridiculous.

The Ivory Tower (I'm not coming down)
Open Activity Monitor, select All Processes, sort by CPU, and kill it.
