I'm traveling to Sweden and France. Any chance there's one SIM that will work in both places, or am I better off buying a separate SIM at each airport?

I'm mostly interested in the data (email and such). Voice and text is nice, but most texting would go through iMessage in any event.

In the European Union, you can use the same sim everywhere, and with European carriers, you also get a standard roaming fee, with no extra national fee,so,the cost for calling and data transfer over cellphone networks in European Union is the same regardless of if you use roaming or not,.
My advice is to buy a sim in the first country you go to,and then use it in the second country too. Be sure to choose one of the larger carriers.

Thanks. In particular I wasn't sure how Sweden worked with the rest of the EU-- it's a member but hasn't opted in to all the programs-- but I lucked out and got a response from a Swede!

The only eu programs that Sweden is not involved in,is NATO membership and the European currency, but of course, many stores in larger cities in Sweden also accept euro as payment.
