I have a fith Gen Ipod Touch. I would like to put one more tune at 320 MP3 as the rest of my tunes are converted to 256 as they load onto the Ipod Touch. I tried moving the one tune over via click and move fashion to the Ipod when in Itunes. Either I do not know how to find the tune at the higher bit rate or it was never copied to the hard disk of the Ipod Touch. The higher bit rate is necessary for this one tune.

Any help at all out there?

I am just totally curious why, for just that one, you need the slightly higher bitrate that should be of completely no consequence on Apple hardware.

I need to hear as much of the original recording as possible in this case. My expertise on how to do that is limited. It would seem that the desired sounds digitized would be at least Apple Lossless or CD quality. This particular one is 320 MP3. On my old Ipod I could just put a file on the disk. I was hoping someone could aid me in trying to do just that.

Ah, ok. Now I understand. Do this:

Install the app FileManager (made by TapMedia) on your iPod touch.

Then get the program iFunBox and install it on your Mac. Attach your iPod to the Mac and fully exit/quit iTunes if it is running. Start up iFunBox and us it to transfer the MP3 to the "Documents" directory of the app FileManager. After it is transferred, open the app and tap tie file name. File manager has a built in MP3 player and will play the file.

Thanks again. Being fairly ignorant of the File Manager program, I have learned that I can easily put the wave files onto the i touch by simply copying the file to File Manager when the I touch is working with Itunes on my computer. Then a simple sync of the apps has the files on my I touch. Thanks again iolinux!
