Quite an annoying issue! I have OneDrive on my M1 Air and my M2 Mini. I usually use my Air, but today I am using the Mini to update a couple of files. When I save the file, the changes do not replicate over on the Air!

Onedrive on the Mini says "your files are synced"... Onedrive on the Air says "your files are synced"..!

If I save a NEW file in OneDrive on the Mini, it shows up on OneDrive on the Air.

If I go to OneDrive online, on either Mac, the latest correct updated version of the file shows.

In Finder on the Air, the file has a cloud next to it, and if I hover over that, it says "Waiting to Update", but the OneDrive icon in the menu bar says all files are updated. I have even quit OneDrive and restarted it but nothing.

Any advice?

hmm no they are not actually - Air is 26.002.0105, and Mini is 25.159.0817.. neither have pending updates, I don't recall which was which now!

Here is an example - I amended this Expenses form on the mini tonight. On the Air in Finder it shows that cloud icon and a last modified date of 2023. But in the OneDrive icon in the menu bar it shows it as having just updated!

I get this a lot with an Excel spreadsheet. It's up to date on all my Macs but sometimes lags behind on my Android phone. No idea why as every version of OneDrive gets updated automatically to the latest and both say that synching is complete.

I had similar issues with onedrive, I largely gave up on onedrive. Its a painful on windows, and on the mac it was largely unusable.
