Does anyone have this phone yet?
I’ve got the 12. The 12R is the lower cost version but looks decent. The 12 has been great so far!
On my current finances I’m more looking towards the 12R. Bit annoying that the only way to get the higher capacity model is if you get some limited edition version, and that only 128GB is the standard model in the UK.
That does suck.
I found a review at last for the OP12 on Amazon UK. It was from someone coming from an OP8. They said they didn’t like the screen as much as they found the colours messy, also that it was very reflective especially on the rounded corners.
Never owned an 8 (just 9, 10, 12) but there are a lot of color variations you set the display to. Not sure about the 8 but the 12 is better than my wife’s 10 Pro. I left the factory screen protector on my 12. Wonder if that person removed theirs …. I find the 12 to be as reflective as the 15 ProMax.
One plus 12 seems really impressive. That bigger battery has made a big difference for battery life. Seems battery life king so far and also seems to last the latest in direct sunlight
Has anyone got experience with this and the S23U? Need a newer phone and can't decide between them both. Where I am a used S23U is about $700, and a used OP12 is $800.
Used both. The SPen and Dex made the choice for me. Have a S24U at the moment.
The 1+12 is a smooth fast device. If you don’t use the SPen or Dex, it is a better choice IMO.
S23U went to my son.
1+12 went to the wife.
From what I've read too the 1+12 seems more responsive. What were the pro's of one device over the other if you don't mind?
Hopefully this nice flat screen will make it to the OP 13. The curved screen is the only reason I haven't bought OP in quite awhile. It seriously needs to go away and never come back.OnePlus have just unveiled another midrange device the Nord 4. Actually quite a nice design and not bad specs for the price.

OnePlus Nord 4 arrives with an all-metal body around a unique design
The phone runs on a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset that brings plenty of AI features. The OnePlus Nord 4 was unveiled today at the company's Summer Lunch...m.gsmarena.com
Here’s a one week review:
Apparently it’s getting longer software support than the OnePlus 12 and its chip is virtually as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with a huge chunk of RAM no wonder it’s so good at its AI features.

I think the Nord 4 is shaping up to be easily the best OnePlus Nord phone yet — here's why
A return to Snapdragon silicon and the company's best software support promise yet is just the start of what the OnePlus Nord 4 gets right.www.androidauthority.com
Apple has NEVER on record EVER stated 7 years of support for any iPhone! If Samsung didn't subsidize my purchases through their pre order deals a phone like this would be interesting.
The thing is that for me unless the software is an experience I enjoy using and is supported for a long time with quick updates. I also want reliable software.
Now that Samsung and Google basically match Apple in terms of 7 years of updates it is hard not to factor that in the purchase decision. I may not keep the phone for 7 years or even close but it is nice to know if I had to I could and it will add resale value to all of these devices.
So the appeal of cheap hardware is starting not to be as enticing as it used to be if there isn't at least an equal value in the software too.
I absolutely love this guy's commentary in his reviews more than the reviews themselves!OnePlus have just unveiled another midrange device the Nord 4. Actually quite a nice design and not bad specs for the price.

He sounds very northern to me. Hints of Geordie or Mackem in his speech. Very much the opposite of Sussex. Can't tell were his accent is from I suspect Sussex UK but unsure. Drinks at a bar eith this dude would be knackers!
