Read somewhere that OnePlus said the One is only going to be supported with software updates for two years compared to the Galaxy Nexus which has had CyanogenMod updates for a phone older than 3 years. Is this true?I only upgrade once every three yearsvso I'm just wondering if this is an issue.

I believe that is also Google's stance on support for Nexus devices as well (well close, 18 months).

I would be extremely happy with those 2 years of updates. I have the feeling they won't update it as long, but who knows, 2 years would be awesome.

Most people trying to ditch their phones before the 24 months contracts are up anyway :)

2 years? Hell that's better than 95% of android phones.
