So I am thinking about signing up to one of those online backup services, perhaps Backblaze. Since I have only 2 Mbps upload speed, it would take few weeks to upload everything. I can leave my Mac Pro running but I am often away from home and what bothers me is I don't want to leave auto-login feature enabled. In case of power failure, Mac Pro can turn on automatically so it could continue online backup. My guess is without logging in, Backblaze app won't be launched therefore online backup won't continue.

In security and privacy it is possible to set the password prompt immediately after sleep or screen saver but not after restart.

Any solutions, apps, that would allow me to log in automatically but lock screen and ask for password immediately after logging in?

Ok I found a solution, Lock Screen Plus, great app for $0.99 at App Store.
