Online multiplayer chess

I had a look on Google and the only programs I could find were years old and out of date. As the title asks, is anyone aware of any applications for the Mac that allows you to play chess online against real humans? Preferably not so you have to play it all at once - so if if lasts for hours you can play it over several days.

I am aware there are many browser based chess sites (I already play on one of them). However, I would have liked a desktop chess app.

Oh, I don't know of anything then. You could always email your moves ... e2-e4 😛

If i can suggest this chess, it's really good - played with bunch of my friends, much more interesting and fun then playing complete strangers.
