What I'd like to know is did the "Ships By:" field change from the 28th anytime before you saw it ship?

For now mine still says the 28th so, I am hoping with all of this buzz it is going to go out tonight but we'll see..

I just got a shipping confirmation for mine a couple of minutes ago!!! And to answer a previous question, mine said ships by Sept. 28 right until it changed to shipped...

Mine has now shipped too. Now I have to hope I can intercept & refuse it, since they couldn't cancel.

For some reason, my online order charged me $3-4 more in sales tax than my retail purchase in my home state. Be glad to get a refund if only b/c of that.

I ordered mine on the 5th at 12:20PM PDT and I did not have any engraving on it.

yeah, mine still says "not yet shipped" and I ordered it the day after the keynote. its a W308 as well, and its engraved so I am hoping it at least ships out today. They don't send out to P.O. Boxes (I'm in college so it has to be shipped to my house first). I called apple like 3 times and they gave me the same crap each time and they are not helpful at all.

Wierd. I ordered mine 15 minutes after you, W3083XXXX, and mine is still prepared.

Probably because mine is getting engraved.

But then, why would it be prepared for shipment?
