I have been trying to arrange an online repair for my iPhone 7 Plus battery, but after I enter my payment information and click the set up repair button, I get a message saying, "we're sorry, but your online repair request could not be completed at this time." Anyone else having this problem?

I had this a few months ago. Apple kept setting up repairs but they kept throwing this error, then when I kept trying, it’d eventually say the repair had been cancelled completely.

In the end, Apple processed my payment and completed the repair request over the phone......it was the only way they could get it to work.

Edit: Here’s the thread I started:

Are you saying you had to call them to set up repair?

I called them with an issue, and they agreed to send me an express replacement. To complete the request, they sent me a link that I had to visit to enter my payment details so they could put a hold on my card for the replacement device. Unfortunately, everytime I tried to do this, I had the same problem you’re seeing.

The only way Apple were able to solve this was to setup the repair request for me by taking my payment details over the phone, and inputting them straight into their system.

Give them a call and explain what’s happening......they should be able to do the same for you.
