Hi,

I'm ordering the 3rd gen iPad from Apple.com tomorrow, and I was wondering if I have the right to a replacement if there is anything wrong with it.

I know you can return it if you buy in-store, but are the rules equal for the web store?

Did just that a month ago through the Apple store online return. Real simple and they unlike (some) other manufacture, actually do not ask for a restocking fee or lose the shipping cost that we pay. Real nice of Apple to do this.

Are you in the UK?

Perhaps the UK is different, but if you bought online, you have to return online, not in store.

This was the case for me when my 32 gig pre order turned up, I had already bought one as in NYC as I had work out there during the launch.

I tried to return my online order instore, but they said they don't accept them and took me through the online returns process there and then.

Sorry... Yes, I am in the US
Bought online and returned in store a few days after it was delivered
