I graduated so I can't use the discount anymore I suppose. Has anyone used it and got caught. If so, what happened? Just pay the full price and then it's done?

The sister of a friend of mine still is in university so I suppose I can let her order for me? :D

Yes they check academic status. Why skirt the issue? You can get great deals at third party retailers.
 
The terms of sale for the edu store spell it you. Yes, they'll charge your credit card for the difference if you come up in an audit.
