I graduated so I can't use the discount anymore I suppose. Has anyone used it and got caught. If so, what happened? Just pay the full price and then it's done?

The sister of a friend of mine still is in university so I suppose I can let her order for me? :D

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

Yes they check academic status. Why skirt the issue? You can get great deals at third party retailers.

The terms of sale for the edu store spell it you. Yes, they'll charge your credit card for the difference if you come up in an audit.

It's also forbidden for anyone to buy for anyone else, but of course theres's no way for them to catch that.

This is called "fraud," by the way.;)

Buy somewhere that doesn't charge sales tax. It would be around the same as the student discount.

So? Still fraud per Apple's terms and conditions.

Like I said, though, virtually impossible to get caught.
