My battery life is bad again, 38% left with only 8 hours, 43 mins usage.

This will be dead by 20.00 I bet.

Finally got in contact with Apple today. Tried to set up an express replacement under Applecare+ via chat but the tech is trying to push "tips on improving your battery life" on me instead.

I'm gonna send it in for service, but the diagnostic test he ran said things looks okay on his end.

In the end if it's the phone itself, I dunno what to do other than just sit on my hands and wait. There's no sense in "upgrading" my phone right now when we're about four months away from new devices. (Not to mention that none of Apple's current offerings interest me, but that's a separate issue entirely.)

Won’t have anything to do with the phone don’t worry.

Happy to report that yesterday at 11:21PM, after 13 hours and 34 minutes away from the charger, my watch was showing 58% of battery remaining, which is about what I remember it being in the past, so problem solved. My old watch would have been long dead by that time.

Now I can't help but wonder if I just had a faulty battery or if something about my usage of the watch accelerated the decay of the battery life.

Dropped my old watch off at FedEx this morning, so hopefully that's back in Apple's hands by Saturday.
