Only 6 airtags showing in Find My

I bought 8 airtags and set them up, however only 6 are showing up in Find My on my iPhone and iPad. Interestingly, when I open the Find My app on my iMac I can see the other 2, but not the 6 that are shown on the iPad and iPhone. I can't find anything to this respect online, and was wondering whether anyone else has encountered this issue.

Unfortunately not, the problem was present even before the update to iOS 15 and remains present for me. There seems to be a limit of 6 airtags in place.
