I stand by my original statement the level app would be off, albeit a tiny amout.

I've own the 5th Generation iPod touch for almost 2 years now and the protruding camera is such a non-issue, the camera has't gotten scratched and the iPod sits just fine on a flat surface. The iPhone 6 hasn't even been announced and people are already finding ways to point out its flaws.
