only using my rMB 7 hours a week.

Is this device like a iPhone or an iPad? Can I leave the rMB in sleep mode for days without using it or should I shut it down? I only use it 2 or 3 times a week for like maybe 6-8 hours over the 2-3 days.

You can just close the lid and let it sleep for long periods of time without hurting anything. No need to shut down.
