Only want to unlock from Tesco

Please forgive my confusion, I have read lots of jailbreaking info but just get more and more confused! 😕😕

All I want to do is unlock my iPhone 4 (running 4.1) from the Tesco network and run it on Vodafone.

Is this currently (and for a beginner) possible? 😱

doubt it as 4.1 upgrades the baseband and thats unlockable

Do you mean the Modem Firmware?
If so it is 02.10.04

If not where would I find the "baseband"?
