So I got my iPhone 3G on Sunday and noticed the Recall Notice on the Apple site. I quickly ordered one on Sunday and it arrived today.

I inspected the original and the new power adapters and they are the EXACT same.

I then re-read the notice on the support site and saw:
They both have the green dot on them...oops :p

So what should I do? Would Apple flip out if I didn't send it back?

Just send one of them back. Otherwise they'll charge you for the cost of the replacement.

Send one back with a note that explains that it was a mistake. They won't charge you for being cautious. :)
