Looking for an old video on a bunch of flash drives, I came across a document (that I believe has photos embedded) that I wrote after visiting the U.S. Southwest. I did it on a MS machine and I believe using Works. At any rate, it is a .wps file now. And I can't get it to open on my Mac with Pages, and I am confused about what I do need to open it. Read one article that said it would open in iCloud (somehow), but I can't make it open there. And I thought there was a built-in way to convert it to a .pdf, but now I don't see how. Directions please!

".wps" extension denotes a Microsoft Works word processor file.

My recommendation is that you download the FREE "LibreOffice" app:

It has the ability to open all sorts of older files, and I predict it will be able to open the .wps file that you have.

And did I mention that its... free?

Thank you, Fisherman! I will check.

Didn't get far into LibreOffice yet. A friend found that the online converter at Freeconvert.com went from wps to pdf very quickly and easily (and free). That solved my immediate need. Will continue to explore.
