We have idiots who truly do a double standard. Look at this one saying oh how great apple Nanny system is.

Then lets look at the thread on the Trojan virus infecting OSX and look how they defend OSX saying this is not a virus. It user stupidity which is exactly the case for Android.....

Just figure I would point that out the fact that to many apple fan boys run around with the mentally apple can do not wrong and is the best system ever.....Idiots

A virus is a computer program which can self replicate and infect other computers / files with no user interaction. It gets its name from human viruses which can likewise self replicate and infect others.

A trojan on the other hand can do none of those things and generally needs to be installed by the user to have any effect on the system. It gets its name from the Trojan horse.

The point is that a trojan is not a virus and a virus is not a trojan. They are completely different things.

You will noticed that the arguments used here defending bashing the Android are being defended against in that tread.

This is just an example of a thread why apple fan are though of as blind idiots.

Just to add to this. In the general use of the word "computer virus" it is a blanket term that covers Worms, Virus and Trojans.

There are very few true computer virus made any more. Vast majority of the so call viruses for windows for example are Trojans, then worms and I believe less than 3% true computer viruses.

Still, Google's unregulated Android marketplace makes them more vulnerable to these sort of concerns. In contrast, Apple tries to hold more control over their App Store and manually approves all applications that enter the App Store.

Use common sense and you'll have no problems with malicious apps. I have been an android user since inception, and have had no problems. In essence, the lack of Google 'parenting' their app store like Apple does give the Android OS the edge on Apple when it comes to creativity,provacativity, etc.
