Pardon my butt in: It sounds to me if you find any scratches or blemishes on the iPP, then it is not in the condition Best Buy described and they'll give you an extra 10% off if you politely mention that.

I have a feeling both 12.9 and 9.7 people will get hosed in the fall so getting a good deal is imperative

9.7 more so, may have iPad 3 length lifecycle. Purposefully held back with 2gb

What are they going to do? Leave a9x until spring next year to get next gen of both siZes? Or more like holidays?

I think they might wait until next year on the Pros and maybe even the mini, but what do I know? Given the shaky upgrade cycles it is hard to say.
