upgraded to Ventura 13.0 on my mac mini 2018. When I shut down I have 4 finder windows open, I check the re-open open windows box on restart. However, on reboot, the previously open finder windows do not reopen...they did on Monterey. Also, when I shut down the mini, I am logged into my home network. Under Monterey, with reboot, I would get a prompt window to enter my network's password. Under Ventura I do not.
Bug, feature? Is there something I am not doing?
Thanks
John

13.0.1 was just released, so you might want to update first.

As for reopening windows at login, it works for me (just tried it).

As for requiring you to login to your network every time you restart, this is not something desirable to me, so I've never done it, but perhaps if you uncheck "Automatically join this network" under System Settings > Wi-Fi > Details... (next to your network name), that would do the trick?

Thanks for the suggestions. I updated to 13.0.1 last night and haven't checked yet

Figured it out
going to 13.0.1 didn't help, but going into system references and login items did. When I upgraded to Ventura that got screwed up, and my fiddling with it didn't help. I cleared out what was there—nothing I wanted—and put in to finder windows I want to open automatically and that did it.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Looks like ventura may be a major under the hood update?
