Does anyone here use Open Source alternatives to the default IOS apps on IOS? Just curious since I am looking into looking for more open source alternatives for the photos gallery, passwords, etc.

A few of what I use: FileBrowser Pro, HashPhotos, PCalc, Brave Browser, Planmore Calendar.
By open source I mean, free and unlimited, especially for photos. Is that the case with those?

My experience is that if its free, you're the product being sold. I understand the draw of FOSS, but I don't know if that's really present in the ios app store.
No. I have found few free apps meeting my needs and functionality desires, to the extent I can't think of one to add here.

That or you have to do a lot of work to make the product work. For example, Nextcloud is free, but you have to set up some kind of server.
