If I keep tabs open for a while to go back to later, which I have always done, when I go back to an open tab the page is blank and even refrreshing it doesn't bring it back.
This is a deal breaker if Apple can't fix this. Anyone else experiencing this?

I’ve come across this occasionally. Often enough to be an irritant. If this deal-breaker for you, recommend use alternative browser.

are you running any extensions? perhaps create a test admin account, see if the issue persists.

have never seen that here...

I just deleted Adblock and installed 1Blocker and an open tab just did the same thing. Turned into a blank page and refreshing didn't help
have you tried creating a test admin user account? this would, at least, tell you if the problem is global, or connected to your user account. & maybe others will have some ideas. good luck with it

No, it appears others have this issue so it's not just me.
The question is, how quickly will Apple address it?

not everyone is experiencing this, so you might need to find common denominators, with others who are experiencing the issue.

did you try a test user account? anyway, hope it's sorted soon, one way or another 👍
No, don't want to do that, but it's clear that others are having the issue so hopefully Apple will find a fix soon.
This doesn't happen in Firefox, only Safari

it's really easy... you can google it (creating a test admin account, trying it there; then you can delete that account).

if the problem isn't system-wide, or common enough, there may not be a 'fix' (but hopefully, it will be resolved in an update, regardless of the problem's source). good luck

Thanks.
I deleted my cookies for X and Facebook but it didn't do a thing.
I see many threads about the problem and I posted on X and some folks replied that they too have the issue so it has to be a software problem with the newest version of Safari.
