This problem only seems to arise periodically and strangely - I think it correlates with repairing permissions on my main hard disk.
I have an Airport Extreme with an external hard drive mounted to it as an Airport Disk. There are 3 partitions on the disk - 1 fat32 for cross platform storage and 2 hfs volumes. 1 of these I use to back up my Macbook Pro using Super Duper but I only do this when the external drive is attached w/a firewire connection. When I have it mounted as an Airdisk the "open with" option takes forever to load and sometimes if I pick the wrong option will tell me that "this program has moved - would you like to repair it now" song and dance.
See below. This last time I tried to open with the Adobe Photoshop CS3 and it gave the program has moved dance. As soon as I picked the Photoshop CS3 ... cutoff branch option I was fine.
Is there a way to make the backup partition invisible when I have the Airdisk running?
