"open with" problem

I just installed a new program called PDFpen and now when I right click a file and select "open with" it gives me a list of programs I can use, the problem is it displays each program two or four times. It lists preview four times in a row and then quicktime four times in a row, etc. Any idea to how I can fix this so it lists each each program only once as it should?

rebuild the LaunchServices database by copy and pasting this command into Terminal and hitting enter.

/System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/\
Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister \
-kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user
