Hi everybody,

I really need your help 😊

I've installed OpenCore last December on my iMac 2017 and it was working like a charm.

Unfortunately, with the latest update (Ventura 13.2.1) the display resolution was too small, because the graphics patch was not installed. When I try to post-install this patch using the “Post Install Root Patch” option in OpenCore 6.1 (latest version), it says that it's unable to download the Kernel Debugging Kit from Apple's server.

I therefore downloaded the latest version of the KDK by myself and installed it on my iMac, but nothing changed: OpenCore keeps telling me that it's unable to download the KDK, etc. when I try to post-install the patch.

What am I doing wrong? Any idea?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Why on earth do you need to install Opencore on your iMac 2017?

I'd back up what I needed
Boot to internet recovery
COMPLETELY erase the internal drive
Re-install the OS
Restore from your backup.
