A newbie here. I installed Opencore Legacy Patcher on my 10212 iMac. It works great, for about a day. The screen display then acts up, requiring rebooting very often to fix the problem, and then only for a shorter and shorter period of time. If I then run the "Ventura Core Patcher Legacy Kernel Debugger", the problems then drop away for another day or so. My question is, does installing the debugger clear something that can more simply be cleared, rather than going through all of this every few days? Thank you for your patience.

K two, many thanks. I reset the SMC on this "antique" iMac, and got the same result as I did with the reinstall of opencore patch with a lot less hassle. I hope I did it right. 1) Shut down and then unplug it from power for a minute. 2) Plug it in and boot up.
This is a temporary solution. I will be upgrading my hardware soon, too cheap for new, I will buy used. Not sure what to look for.
