I need to scan a letterhead and save it in Documents to use as a template in Word.
I am having trouble getting this to work and would appreciate some help.
Thanks All !!
Brian

Not sure, but it may depend on the software you use to scan. I have a Lexmark printer/scanner in my classroom and it opened a document in Word once I scanned it.

Even if you can't open in word, can't you place the image in the header as a permanent letterhead?

From your description, it is hard to determine what you are actually trying to do

However, as suggested above, depending on what the scan actually IS... I would scan it as a graphic, open in Preview and crop it, and then place it in a Word doc as the header and then save it as a template.
