Ever since I updated. Randomly whenever I open the camera, it'll just show black and freeze up. Or this morning when I tried to open it, it shut down my phone and said I have no battery left. I had 60 percent when I tried.

Was this discussed at all? Is there a solution??

Happening to me too, but the app just freezes with blur effect. Happened in ios9 too. iPhone 6s

Same issue here, the app takes like 5 seconds to load and then sometimes its just a blur and I have to reboot my phone. Only started when I upgraded to iOS 10.

Never happened to me on iOS9 with my iPhone 6S (only 3 months old phone). A few days after upgrading to iOS 10, I noticed the camera was sticking on black (or very dark) in the iMessages send photo section. That seemed to then spawn to most of my other apps that use camera - facebook, camera, instagram (snapchat doesnt appear to be affected so far).

The camera app will load up, and then it looks like its trying to focus as everything gets almost compeletely washed out with blur to dark blue/black color. In the camera app, swapping from photo to video helps, so its hardly a hardware issue. Seems Apple have made a blunder.

Happened on ios9 on 6s and now happening on my new 7 plus too frequently. So much so that the raise to wake and swipe to open camera feature has been rendered useless. It can easily beat s7 in camera launch speed if it gets consistent
