Like the title says, when I open multiple tabs at once Safari hangs my network. Maybe two of tabs are loaded but the others are stopped in the middle...

any help would be really appreciated

How well and how fast they load depend on several factors, including your internet connection speed and the sites themselves. I routinely open 20+ tabs at a time on Safari, with no problems. Some sites take longer to load than others. You could try resetting Safari, clearing your cache and cookies. Also check any ad-blockers, plug-ins or extensions that may be interfering.

While you're at it, for security, make sure that in Safari > Preferences > General you have unchecked "Open "safe" files after downloading"
Also in Safari > Preferences > Security, uncheck "Enable Java" (JavaScript is OK).
