Opening the Laptop (Indentation Placement)

    Does anyone know why apple doesn't design their laptops similar to the image below. It seems that it is an issue that when attempting to open the laptop from closed position, your finger is placed in such close proximity to the camera.

    That would absolutely suck for typing. The edges are very sharp on the indentation.

    It isn't hard to open it while only touching the aluminum. Just get in the habit of doing so.

    the problem with that is how incredibly sharp the edges of the indent are... the macbook wrist marks would then turn into macbook wrist cuts...
